A REALISTIC MOCK

Experience the pressure before test day.

The mock follows the familiar three-part speaking structure and uses real-time follow-up questions. It tests spontaneous communication—not a prepared speech.

PART 1

Introduction and familiar topics

Short questions help you settle in while showing how naturally and accurately you respond.

PART 2

Individual long turn

Prepare briefly, speak at length and show how well you organise and develop your response.

PART 3

Deeper discussion

Develop more abstract ideas and respond to follow-up questions without a prepared script.

Your private online appointment lasts approximately 20 minutes. The assessed mock itself lasts around 11–14 minutes.

YOUR SPEAKING REPORT

Useful evidence—not a page of generic advice.

Your report focuses on the information that can change how you prepare.

7.0

Estimated overall band

A realistic indication of your current speaking performance.

Criterion breakdown

Separate observations for fluency, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.

Evidence from your answers

Specific patterns heard during your mock—not assumptions about your level.

Priority action plan

WHY LIVE?

Speaking is interactive. Your practice should be too.

Recorded answers can be rehearsed and cannot respond naturally to follow-up questions. A live mock gives more credible evidence of how you communicate when the conversation changes.

  • Unseen questions
  • Real-time follow-ups
  • No scripts or repeated takes

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you book.

Is this an official IELTS score?

No. Your performance is assessed by a former IELTS examiner using the publicly available IELTS Speaking band descriptors. You receive an informed estimated band, not an official IELTS result, and your test-day score may differ.

Is the mock live or recorded?

It is a live online appointment. This allows spontaneous follow-up questions and makes the experience more realistic.

Will my accent reduce my score?

You are assessed on intelligibility and pronunciation features, not on having a particular accent.

When will I receive the report?

Your written report is emailed by the end of the next UK working day after your speaking appointment. UK working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.

What if I need to change my appointment?

Reply to your booking email as early as possible. Alternative availability will be offered where reasonable.
